Empower Network is basically a blogging
platform/system that has gained a huge amount of momentum in a short
period of time. The owners –
David Wood and
David Sharpe – launched
Empower Network on October 31st, 2011, and as of writing this review
(June 2012) they have already paid out around $5 million in commissions
to their members. (How much do they pay in commissions? 100%! More on
that later.)
To give you an idea of how fast they are growing, the Alexa rank for
Empower Network as of today is 297 in the U.S., and 849 in the world.
Yes, you can join Empower Network from almost anywhere in the world –
not just the U.S. (If you are not familiar with Alexa, they are a
company that reports information and ranks Web sites based on page views
and usage, or “traffic”.)
For comparison’s sake, I am going to assume if you are here looking
for a home based business opportunity you have heard of Herbalife.
Currently Herbalife International has an Alexa rank of 13,565 in the
U.S., and 22,327 in the world. I’m sure you know this, but the smaller
the number, the higher the rank – so you can see what I mean by
momentum!
“OK, so Empower Network is popular. What is it again?”
It is a home based opportunity based on
blogging. Before you stop
reading because you think “I don’t know anything about blogging” –
that’s what Empower Network helps you with. This system not only
teaches you how to set up, promote, and “rank” your own blog, but it is
in fact already a customized, WordPress blog.
After joining Empower Network and mere minutes later you have your
own fully functional blog site. You can start adding your own content
right away! You don’t have to buy a domain, hire people to design your
site, retain lawyers, pay for a team to customize everything like
plugins and SEO, etc. All that has been done for you. (This is
something that most members – especially those new to the area of
blogging – love about Empower Network.)
It’s a blogging platform, complete with
extensive training and an
existing sales funnel. They will teach you what you need to know about
how to choose what to write about (if you don’t know already),
how to
market your site through social media, and everything else you would
need to know about how to run your business. You don’t have to know
any
of that going in! Not only is it a completely set up blog site where
you simply write, post, and market whatever you want, but since the
Empower Network platform has authority on Google is and you are
blogging through them, your site is already an “authority blog” as well –
which helps drive traffic to your site.
It’s a numbers game. Having a nice blog site is a great thing in itself, but having people actually
see your blog is key if you’d like to make money! Empower Network teaches you how to make that happen.
“OK cool. Cut to the chase – how much is it?”
There are different levels, but to get started it’s $25 to get you
the fully customized WordPress blog. It is then $25 every month to
continue your blog on Empower Network. I will get into different
options/upsells in a bit, but I want to tell you right away that even
though you are certainly allowed to sell your own products on your site,
the way most Empower Network members make really big money is by having
visitors to your site also purchase what Empower Network has to offer.
You add your own content, and the site is set up for you to get paid
by being an affiliate marketer for Empower Network. And as you saw
earlier, the popular systems/products/memberships they are selling have
brought in millions of dollars in just a few months. It works!
In order for you to get paid your commission whenever somebody clicks
on an Empower Network link on your site, you do have to sign up for an
e-Wallet account – which costs $19.95 a month. It is similar to having a
Paypal account, but Empower Network does all the work (orders,
processing, refunds, etc.), and then deposits your earned commissions
into your e-Wallet account – which you can then have transferred into
your bank account.
This seems like an extra expense – and of course it is – but if you
were to have a Paypal merchant account you would currently be paying
2.9% on everything you earned, plus 30 cents per transaction, plus
additional fees for international orders. So if you were to make
anything over $600 a month in domestic-only orders, you would already be
paying over $19.95 e-Wallet expense.
Empower Network no longer goes
through Paypal, and even though there is a different merchant account
you could go with, the less expensive option and the one I would
recommend is e-Wallet.
So at the base level, you are looking at $44.95 a month to have your
own
authority blog and be able to make
100% commissions with
Empower
Network.
I mentioned earlier there are different levels. Perhaps I should
have said products or “upsells”. Empower Network currently pays 100%
commissions on three other products in addition to the $25 cost of the
blog itself.
Before I go into these areas, let me say you would need to
buy whatever it is you hope to make commissions on, so if you just
wanted to spend the 25 bucks a month on the blog site itself, that is
what you would make commissions on. Basic premise is you can spend less
and make less, or spend more to make more. It’s completely up to you,
your comfort level, and the amount of money you intend to make.
Perhaps their “hottest” product is the “Empower Network Inner Circle”. It is a
complete audio/video education and training system detailing pretty much everything you ever wanted to know about Internet marketing! In
fact in my days of researching the pros and cons of Empower Network,
one of the only “complaints” I found is some have said there is
too much knowledge and expertise shared in the Inner Circle. (I find that pretty funny.)
Think of it this way: in this network of professionals you would be
joining, there are top earners and experts in virtually every area of
running an Internet based business who come together in Empower Network
to share their expertise with all other members of the Inner Circle to
help you completely maximize your earning potential.
By joining the Inner Circle, you would have access to all of it!
It’s $100 a month – and remember, you would get 100% commissions on
others who also signed up for it just by clicking on the videos,
banners, or links on your coded blog. You don’t have to track them down
– Empower Network does that for you. I have found exactly zero
complaints that a commission was ever missed for any reason.
The two previously mentioned products are paid for monthly – both by
you and from those who sign up and earn you commissions. The next two
are one time payments.
The Costa Rica Mastermind intensive training. Empower Network
co-founder David Wood – who originally is from Alaska – now lives his
dream life with his wife in his dream home in Costa Rica. The Costa
Rica Mastermind intensive training was a two day event held there in
2011, and the participants paid about $3,000 each (not including
airfare) to attend.
It was shot on HD video, and the DVD w/booklet course is now being
sold for a one time fee of $500. It might sound like a lot to some –
but most all who bought it were very glad they did, for both the
intensive and unique training they received and the fact you make the
money back when others purchase the same training.
The last “upsell” that might interest you if you care to make as much
money as you possibly can from Empower Network is what is called the
$15,000 Per Month Income Formula. It’s a one time fee of $1,000.
Originally it sold for $250, but was quite popular and the price as you
can see went way up. That’s the bad news and the good news. Bad
because it cost four times more now. Good because you can make four
times more when others buy it from your site.
The other news is anyone that bought in for $250 now makes $1,000 off it now. That means you missed out on
that
particular bump up in profit, but as you can see if the price for
something else happens to go up after you yourself bought in, you make
the
higher commission level – just like in this case.
So if you went “all in” at this point (as I myself have done!), it
would cost you $1,625, plus the recurring monthly fees of $125 and the
$19.95 e-Wallet cost to receive your affiliate commissions. But
remember, you don’t have to do that. You could simply pay $25 a month
and have your own complete, fully functional blog. Many people choose to do that.
You could always bump up to the other levels later once you realized
you liked Empower Network. But you must remember if you chose to do
this as a business and wanted to maximize your earning potential, you
only make the 100% commissions on whatever you yourself purchase.
Now I want to be completely up front on the “100% commissions”
compensation plan. Some have questioned the math, and though I think
the questioning of this is valid, I also think the explanation is quite
credible. Plus, and to me even more importantly, they do not try to
hide this either. The compensation plan is indeed something that makes
people want “in”, so I want to make sure you understand it.
The compensation plan works like this – and I am going to use just
the $25 a month number for simplicity. (It applies equally to all
levels.) You buy in for $25. Done. Somebody sees the Empower Network
video or banner on your blog, and decides to get in themselves.
They pay their $25, and that goes directly to you. Every month.
However, the 2nd, 4th, 6th, and every 5th sale thereafter goes up to who
got you in. It’s called a “pass up”. Now before you start doing the
math and thinking that means you make only 50% commission on the first 6
buys and 80% thereafter, you must consider you are not just the person
doing the pass ups, you are also the person
receiving pass ups.
For example, if the 1st person (3rd, 5th, etc.) who joined from your
site gets 2 people to join Empower Network from their own site…
you are the one who receives
their 2nd (4th, 6th, etc.) “pass up” commission.
Hopefully that makes sense, but if it still seems confusing, I am
telling you it works out pretty dang well. (And you can watch Dave
Woods explain this on video too if that helps.) I would not be doing
this myself if I thought it was a bad deal. The commissions paid here
are much better than most any system I’ve seen,
plus you should
factor in how widely popular Empower Network currently is. If you got
250% commissions from someone selling 2 left shoes… good luck! Who
wants 2 left shoes?
People want Empower Network, because they have a great product that
people want – and that’s not a sales pitch, it is mathematically
verifiable. Nearly a million dollars a month in paid commissions from a
company less than a year old speaks for itself, wouldn’t you agree?
And think of that – you would be getting in with a company with momentum
that is less than two-years old.Launched on October 31st, 2011. As you know, often times that can be the
problem with a home based business – the market is already saturated.
Here are a few final thoughts. It was hard to do this review in a
way, because there was just so much information I gathered in my attempt
at an unbiased review, which as I hope you know is
always my objective.
I will tell you I think this one is unique. I will also say even
though some might see Dave Woods as some hippy looking dude with his
shirt off who talks a lot, I find him to be very authentic – and that
means something to me. Same thing with Dave Sharpe. I identify with
them. I think they are “real”. I root for people like that to be
successful. And I wanted to get on board.
Bottom line; I think this could be a good thing for you too. Whether
you are a beginner in this arena – which this system was really
tailored for – or an expert. There are a lot of “experts” who are
already members of Empower Network, because they see the value in it.
I highly recommend Empower Network and encourage you to take a serious look at it.
